The keen reader will gladly remember Dutch creative Jorge Natalin. Hosting an interview with him last summer, we proudly celebrated the talented artist as “the quintessential example of a gifted, visionary human being, moving wherever inspiration takes him”. We stand by our words, even more today: inspiration pushed Natalian to connect with British producer Avid Beats for a remix of ‘Stitch Me Up’, a track originally featured in Jorge’s 2024 album ‘Coming Down From Heaven’.
Trusting Avid Beats’ heightened DnB and EDM wisdom, Natalin let the London-based producer transform the song into a hypnotic, luscious and anthemic dance record. The result is far more than a simple club-oriented tune. Natalin’s vocals give the piece an evocative, meaningful allure, and his tone is certainly potent and dynamic. Avid Beats does a good job of elevating the song into electrifying territories, never overshadowing the original composition, instead building on it.
Known by day as Sam Gracie Tillbrook, Avid Beats continues developing his multi-talented creative ethos, showcasing not just a strong production expertise but also the willingness to work with others in a supporting role. Shining a light on his work with the British producer, Natalin explains: “Avid Beats has sensed this emotion profoundly and transformed the song into a positive modern drum ‘n’ bass tune. I am very thankful for the way the remix turned out.” It looks like there’s a strong musical alchemy between the two artists, something that makes the remix even more relatable and prominent.
