Gaby Duboisjoli Returns with Immersive, Hypnotic Gem ‘Je Veux Ton Feu’

Just over a year ago, we were busy celebrating Gaby Duboisjoli’s latest EP ‘Feel Me’ as “steamy and seductive lyricism, delivered with strong elegance and evocative flair”. A lot has changed since then, from the talented French-born artist moving from London to sunnier Spanish lands, to the project’s overall creative focus shifting to multi-lingual, genre-bending material.

Teaming up with producer and multi-instrumentalist ŌKUBI, Duboisjoli has recently unveiled ‘Je Veux Ton Feu’, a brooding and hypnotic piece steeped in heavenly, nocturne vocals, oscillating between trip-hop, electronica and hidden jazz influences. The first chapter of a forthcoming trip-hop trilogy, ‘Je Veux Ton Feu’ aims to provide a listening space where “intimacy and obsession collide, exploring a different facet of desire through language, sound, and atmosphere”

For anyone keen to know more about Gaby Duboisjoli’s velvety, brooding music ethos, she hosts a weekly radio show on Radio Wigwam, ‘The Velvet Curtain’, inviting listeners into her glittering world of sound and seduction.
