Glam Rock anyone? ‘B.N.T.’ takes us back to the genre’s golden era, and in true striking, unapologetic style. In fact, the listening experience is surprisingly fresh and intriguing; we are clearly not used to such roaring guitar riffs and bold vocals anymore. Behind such a powerful piece, we find NYC phenomena Tony & The Kiki, already featured on Mesmerized earlier this year with ‘Keep Shining On’.
This time around, Tony & The Kiki team up with fellow NYC-based guitarist Josephine Network, helping them achieve one of the best singles they have released to date. It’s a fully committed glam-rock revival, and we are here for it! Taken from the group’s upcoming EP ‘Fornication Under The Consent of Queens’, ‘B.N.T.’ unveils a fierce and empowering character, an anthem dedicated to independence and positive stamina.
What’s more, the release includes a quirky music video, shot on VHS and Super-8 by renowned director Dylan Mars Greenberg. Speaking about ‘B.N.T.’, Tony & The Kiki explain: “It’s a middle finger with a red stiletto manicure, stacked in rings and tattooed sigils. And Josephine Network shredding on this track? Total fire.”
