The Prolific Frank Rabeyrolles Returns with ‘Even Space’

Just last month, the prolific and insatiable French-based musician, Frank Rabeyrolles, released his brand new album entitled ‘Boat Songs’. Track seven of the album is a ridiculously beautiful little tune called ‘Even Space, and Frank recently shared a very interesting video to go along with the song. Taking a less-is-more approach, on both the track and the video, ‘Even Space’ gives me a bit of an Elliott Smith vibe. Simple melodies and whispery, haunting vocals are the order of the day, as Frank sucks you into his world and refuses to let go.

Between experimenting with pop, folk, Lo-fi, and ambient sounds, Rabeyrolles has never wanted or needed to choose a box to fit in. From releasing an indie-pop project around the seasons to delivering a fully instrumental and hypnotic record called ‘Materia Prima’, he is an artist that follows the music wherever it takes him.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again…I love nothing more than discovering new artists and then finding out that they have a large catalogue of music to their name. Frank Rabeyrolles is definitely one such artist. I cannot wait to sink my teeth into more of his tunes!
