‘Glass Between Us’ is Sirenglas’ latest effort. It’s a familiar piece, confirming everything said in the paragraph above. If anything, the single is a tad more adventurous when it comes to vocals, allowing for poppier melodies and a dynamic delivery. Yet, the same decadent energy and obscure lyricism are still present, making ‘Glass Between Us’ another wonderful darkwave candidate.
Exploring themes of “intimacy and distance, desire and restraint”, Sirenglas stays true to their mission; being “an AI-human hybrid spectral entity”, crafting striking, monumental records, cathartic fragments of memories with a futuristic outlook.
