Sig And The Fire Pilots Bring Forth Reggae-Infused Single ‘ALMOST OUT OF TIME’

About three months ago, an electrifying act hailing from Cannock known as Sig And The Fire Pilots released their debut single called ‘CLICK BAIT’. A thumping and punky little tune, it captured my heart instantaneously. Now, the band are back, but with a rather different sonic aura this time. Introducing ‘ALMOST OUT OF TIME’, the act’s follow-up to ‘CLICK BAIT’. What greets us is an unexpected blend of rock and reggae that is, while unforeseen, irresistibly catchy and infectious. It’s a track that’s refreshingly straightforward in its approach, elegantly minimalist so as to allow its message to pierce through.

“We like to think of ‘ALMOST OUT OF TIME’ as a lament for the planet,” says the band. “There’s a huge lack of pride and respect for this masterpiece that we call Earth”. With the media’s ceaseless emphasis on our world’s decline, global warming, pollution, and wars, ‘ALMOST OF OUT TIME’ is a song that serves as the group’s response.

In classic Sig And The Fire Pilots style, they’ve left us no indication of when they’ll be back or what we can expect to hear from them next. That’s kind of why we love them though – they’re a band that, undoubtedly, moves to the beat of their own drum!
