Sehore Unleash Charming, Eclectic Album ‘Husfikbur’

‘Husfikbur’ is what we would define as a ‘sui generis’ album, a unique slice of artistic research and compositional commitment. In fact, the record flourishes on specific ideas and concepts, especially from a songwriting standpoint. Identifying ‘kitsch’ as its foundational ethos, ‘Husfikbur’ makes heavy use of “consonant harmonies with dissonance”, something that’s rarely used in popular music, according to the Spanish group.

Named Sehore, the project hails from Spain with pride, and despite its focus on Spanish lyricism, it’s fair to say that there’s a heightened international allure to it all. In fact, ‘Husfikbur’s predecessor, ‘Ladencia’, contained ‘Pesadilla’, a song that won a silver medal at the Global Music Awards 2025. Recorded at Paco Loco Studio, ‘Husfikbur’ benefits from Mario G. Alberini’s careful mastering at Kadifonia. The record is released and marketed by MusicHunters Records

Drenched in witty instrumental formulas and eclectic instrumentation, ‘Husfikbur’ might not be an album for everyone. Yet, the keen, bold listeners will find it inherently fresh and forward-thinking. As Sehore explain: “These are lost stories from any life, and at the same time, a pillow to rest on. If sadness overtakes you in that mirror, a little tear should be shed to slowly stop crying. In the end, these are the songs that, despite being searched for, never appeared.”
