Rose White Returns with Introspective Jewel ‘Ivory’

We have been following Rose White’s new music releases for a few months – her soulful vocals paired with personal storytelling have gone a long way in showcasing the young Londoner for the musical talent she is. Following up on previous efforts ‘Filthy Dreams’ and ‘Evil Side’, White shares a brand new gem, ‘Ivory’. In it, the listener will find mellow and delicate musical material, coupled with reflective and introspective lyricism. Drawing influence from Amy Winehouse, Sia and Joy Crookes, the song is a delicate exploration of the beginning of a new relationship – the joys and anxieties that come with it, and the beautiful sensation of having butterflies in one’s stomach.

Rose’s story is one of incredible strength and courage. After moving to London with only £300 and two suitcases, she worked hard to make a name for herself in the UK music scene, eventually releasing her debut single ‘Ride’ in 2018. Then, during the pandemic, Rose wrote the material that will feature on her upcoming debut EP, ‘One Fourth Mark’, which is due out on 24 February 2023.

This EP seeks to be an important artistic milestone in Rose’s life, as it explores topics such as relationships, mental health, and life after turning 25. Through her lyrics and her captivating vocals, Rose has taken her own experiences and poured them into her songs, allowing the listeners to find solace and hope in them.
