Robert Vendetta Finally Returns with Retro Pop Gem ‘Vacation’

I’ve been dying to share Robert Vendetta’s latest single with all of you lovely people for a while now and, luckily, today is the day I’m finally able to! It’s the long-awaited release day of ‘Vacation’, the first new tune that the Oslo-based singer/songwriter and producer has published in two years! Well known for his use and love of retro pop, or “modern old” as he sometimes calls it, ‘Vacation’ is an upbeat piano-led track that shimmers with nostalgic charm and infectious melodies. Transporting the listener to a bygone era, the rich and vibrant instrumentation evokes dreams of sunny and carefree summer days.

“The song is a rocker,” says Robert proudly. “Probably heavily influenced by Elton John’s ‘Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting’ and Jerry Lee Lewis”. As far as other musical heroes go, the artist mentions the likes of James Brown, Elvis Presley, and Dee Snider. What unites these three icons, you might ask? Their unparalleled showmanship and charisma. Their captivating command of the stage, and their remarkable ability to put on a spectacle. That’s what Robert is all about!

Allow yourself to go on a little vacation with Robert Vendetta and, for just over three minutes, let all of your cares simply wash away. We want more! We want more!
