Ridiculous Bitch Share Roaring Album ‘Die About It’

‘Die About It’ provides an unapologetic look at Ridiculous Bitch’s roaring and timeless glam-punk formula. It’s a bold, hard-hitting album, one that we won’t forget anytime soon.

A curious glance at Ridiculous Bitch’s Instagram bio reveals a band that knows exactly what they stand for. Self-proclaiming themselves as “mayhem makers”, the talented and fierce New York City-based rock outfit unveils an aural brand that’s bold and hard-hitting, an infectious blend of glam and punk influences all wrapped in a shiny and polished melodic package. As a result, Ridiculous Bitch’s music is both gritty and relatable, a feature that will go a long way in enticing bigger global audiences.

Recently, that very same formula has been put to the test on the band’s latest album, ‘Die About It’. Released on April 1st, the record is the furthest thing from a joke; it’s a serious take on rock nostalgia and unapologetic, electrifying lyricism, a slice of guitar-coded euphoria that never lets listeners down. In the album, we are confronted with eight potent episodes, including past singles ‘Lost My Wife’ and ‘Lady Sadie’.

The overall mood is intense and roaring, with the occasional ballad (such as ‘Cry About It’) providing a respite from Ridiculous Bitch boundless charisma. Recorded and produced by guitarist Jimmie Marlowe, ‘Die About It’ has been described by the band as a “true labour of love”, and judging by the care and attention they put into the album, we can certainly agree to that. It’s the perfect balance between timeless rock ethos and contemporary fierceness.
