Meet KARDHO: Talented Producer and DJ on His Way Up!

We should analyse ‘Whynot’ on two different layers. First, we have the sonic layer, meaning the music itself, a stream of deep tech and minimal house goodness crafted with flair and quirky taste. Penned by Italian aspiring DJ and producer KARDHO, the track takes on a striking character through its hypnotic, elegant beat and a tapestry of synth stabs and prickly noises. The result is a piece that’s rather niche and poised, inspired by the likes of Chris Stussy and Josh Backer, among others.

The second layer, and perhaps the most meaningful, is the highly motivated artistic drive that appears to govern KARDHO’s actions. You see, the Italian creative is only 21, yet his commitment to the craft is undeniable, as is his confidence in the process. That’s inspiring, to be honest. Stating that he started from nothing, ‘Whynot’ is perfect evidence of the great level he’s already achieved. We wouldn’t be surprised to see KARDHO on bigger stages, going forward.

Delving deeper into his work, the Italian talent explains: “I’m self-taught, I’ve been making music for a very short time, but I feel I have enormous potential and could get record labels millions of plays. Things come super easily to me despite all the difficulties of learning on my own. I’m persistent, I know what it means to make sacrifices, and I’m willing to make them. I work and make music.”
