Packed with malleable, relatable and contemporary pop goodness, ‘Home’ collects fragments of honest storytelling, romantic allure and observant lyricism, all emerging from Slate’s longstanding songwriting commitment. You see, the Arizona-based creative has been quietly amassing a series of well-received singles within the past few years; now, she’s looking ahead, gearing up for the release of her long-awaited album ‘Science Fiction’.
The overarching theme over the EP and upcoming album is quite unique, with Mandy embracing a sort of video game-driven, horror-esque sci-fi imagery in her lyrics and music videos.
