Jane N’ The Jungle Transform ‘Life of the Party’ Into a Soul-Stirring Acoustic Anthem

Around two years ago, I fell in love with a little act from Phoenix called Jane N’ The Jungle. Fast forward to today, and the band is now endorsed by Gibson Guitars, selling out shows at the world-famous Troubadour in West Hollywood, and sharing the stage with the likes of Sammy Hagar. To say they’ve come a long way would be the understatement of the year.

‘Life of the Party’ is an EP that Jane N’ The Jungle put out two months ago, and one that we labelled as “an intense and dark EP which takes no prisoners”. Not known for taking things in an acoustic direction, it came as a bit of a shock when they released a raw and rugged acoustic version of the EP’s title track, but in typical fashion, they’ve proved once again that there’s nothing they can’t do!

A tune that depicts the multiple realms of addiction and becoming someone’s drug, the reinterpretation of ‘Life of the Party’ transforms the original into a soul-stirring acoustic anthem. It leaves a haunting and unforgettable mark on the listener that remains long after the song is over, something very few bands have the power to do.
