Gushh Fuses Post-Rock and Shoegaze on Spacey New Offering ‘Nothing Is Lost’

Rounding off the week is the brand new single from Bristol-based post-rock and shoegaze artist Gushh. Titled ‘Nothing Is Lost’, the tune serves as a global call to action regarding the climate crisis and underscores the stark reality of industries that are inadvertently fueling climate change.

Making use of vocal samples sourced from vintage media, Gushh concocts a spacey and atmospheric soundscape that invites listeners to gently contemplate the interconnectedness of humanity and the natural world. Hazy, mesmerizing, and deeply thought-provoking, the track wraps you up in a warm blanket of sonic immersion as you navigate through layers of melodic intricacy and existential introspection.

Written during a week away at a beach caravan with poems, a laptop, and a guitar, ‘Nothing Is Lost’ journeys through melancholy, finding hope along the way, and emerges with a sense of resilience and empowerment.

“The title draws its resonance from the evocative verses of the Archipelago poem which served as the primary muse for the composition,” says Gushh. “Both musically and thematically”. Released to the world on the 22nd of April (Earth Day), Gushh is a musician determined to use his art as a catalyst for positive change, something we could not be more proud to champion and support!
