Delving deeper into the thematic ethos that propels the record, Dom Quincey explains: “Anything at All’ is a song about feeling lost and disillusioned through turbulent times. The lyrics tread a line between fantasy and reality, so I wanted the production to embody both digital and organic elements. I was inspired by the glitchy, minimalist production on some of James Blake’s early work, as well as the distorted, earthy sounds used by grunge bands of the 90s.”
