Discover’s You All Will See’s Rowdy, Intense Indie Universe

We approach You All Will See with a certain curiosity and reverence. You see, the Minneapolis-based project is unconventional in every sense of the word. Embracing an experimental indie-rock ethos, You All Will See navigates the grittier, hazier side of the genre, blending hard-hitting distortions and fierce drums with aural nostalgia and instrumental allure. That’s certainly what transpires from the group’s (or entity, since the project’s origins are unclear) homonymous debut effort, a short yet impactful rock piece steeped in crunchy guitar tones and chaotic energy.

Clocking in at less than two minutes, the record hits the listener thick and fast, wrapping us all into a rather dramatic and dark space, one that’s unexpected but also kind of rewarding. Despite the rowdy nature of the song, we just cannot seem to look away; it has certainly caught our attention. Borrowing inspiration from 1990s and 2000s cassette and vinyl releases, You All Will See doesn’t seek perfection. In fact, it actively seeks imperfection, that’s where the American creative outfit thrives the most.

Doubling down on their/its ethos, the group explains: “Crafted away from the traditional record label systems, this music is for fans of experimental indie rock and for any artist-made list exploring the underground.” There’s obviously much more to come, and the aforementioned debut record can be considered an appetiser. It also ships with a like-minded music video.
