‘Silent Moon’ is an incredible new tune from the London-based independent musician Angelina Luzi. An alternative-pop, soft-rock tune of sorts, ‘Silent Moon’ sees the Italian/English artist working alongside frequent collaborator and producer Nick Burns. If you ask me…the pair have truly produced one of the most exciting and unforgettable tracks so far this year! With infectious synth lines, a strong hook, and the graceful, ethereal vocals of Luzi, there’s simply nothing to not love about the song.
The tune was written “in a moment of loss of direction”, says Luzi. “When the only reassuring feeling would come by watching the moon and its soothing cycles”. It’s a mesmerising and haunting piece that showcases Luzi’s ridiculous vocal abilities. From the sweet opening notes to the soulful chorus, ‘Silent Moon’ is an emotional and powerful ballad that will leave you in a trance.
Luzi’s highly anticipated debut album is scheduled to be released in the fall of this year, and if ‘Silent Moon’ is anything to go by, I think we’re in for a serious treat! Keep an eye (and an ear) out for its release!
