Dale Frost Announces Upcoming Album with ‘Things You’re Not Sorry For’

Out today, ‘Things You’re Not Sorry For’ is a rather personal and meaningful release for Dale Frost. Serving as a cathartic tool for a past relationship gone wrong, the single seeks to highlight the difficulty of coming to terms with betrayal and heartbreak, sharing a relatable, charming pop piece with a great deal of contemporary charisma. Frost’s vocal tone is quite hypnotic, packed with luscious melodism and fierce lyricism, all wrapped into a functional production that leaves ample space for the record’s subject matter.

Anticipating an upcoming album expected in early 2026, ‘I Was With You All Night’, Dale’s latest single appears not to be afraid of unveiling his most vulnerable side, sparking a journey of reckoning and introspection that’s likely to help him move forward and deal with past painful experiences. Such experiences are even more relevant when considering the context he’s operating in, the LGBTQ+ dating scene in rural Georgia.

Delving deeper into the inspiration behind ‘Things You’re Not Sorry For’, Frost explains: “The opening lines ‘I spent a lot of time not getting over it’ really tell you the perspective of what I’ve been through. For a long time after the relationship this song is about, I didn’t feel good enough, and I concluded that I did need to forgive someone for things that they aren’t even sorry for.”
