Confirming their superstar status, British pop explorer Carδamo returns today with an intense, hard-hitting anthem drenched in sultry energy and stylish, eclectic EDM tones. Featuring fellow creative Talk To Frank, ‘One More Night’ manages the impossible, blending haunting melodies, noisy dubstep-esque synth work and relatable, fierce lyricism. The song is exactly what we would expect from Carδamo; a nugget of euphoric, Queer-coded goodness with unapologetic hooks and a hyper-modern flair.
A talented producer, songwriter and singer, Carδamo doesn’t hold back on the future, explaining how ‘One More Night’ sparks a new creative era for the project. “It will all be pop and dance oriented”, the British creative eloquently explains. They know very well where they are going; ‘One More Night’ maintains the eclectic character of its predecessor ‘Cat & Mouse’, navigating the fine line between nocturnal, club-oriented material and brighter radio-friendly territories.
Now proudly a Roundhouse Resident Artist, Carδamo’s evolution is rather impressive, especially when you look closely; they are an attentive player of the contemporary cultural landscape. Speaking about the inspiration behind ‘One More Night’, they explain: “It echoes going out-out, and then going home with someone that you may not really be interested in, except for sex.”
