Through an indie-folk and Americana lens, the tune takes on an upbeat yet introspective appearance. Straight from the heart, Brian and Co. deftly capture that space between the seriousness of falling in love and the more fun and spontaneous side to it. The vocal harmonies between Berggoetz and Alison Wahl are just stunning and add yet another layer of depth to the song’s emotional and romantic landscape.
When talking of his influences, Brian is quick to point to one act in particular. “The Moody Blues are the biggest influence on my approach to music and songwriting,” he says. “The soaring harmonies, the sound of the symphonies, and just the love that emanates from their music is magical”.
