Bree Rusev Returns with Breezy Indie-Folk Masterpiece ‘Finish Line’

Australian-based singer/songwriter Bree Rusev stole our collective hearts last year when we stumbled upon her single ‘Summer Memories’. Labelled by us as “an uplifting and nostalgic anthem with tons of relatability and wholesomeness,” it was a tune that we simply couldn’t get enough of! She then released the stunning ‘Distant Place’ featuring fellow Aussie singer/songwriter Rod Coote, and the talented songstress now returns with her latest offering titled ‘Finish Line’. Let’s dive in!

Sonically and lyrically inspired by the likes of Ben Howard, Angus & Julia Stone, and Xavier Rudd, ‘Finish Line’ is a breezy indie-folk piece that explores themes of uncertainty and resilience. A gorgeous and delicate track that once again showcases Bree’s angelic and heartfelt vocals, ‘Finish Line’ is further proof that we have a seriously gifted artist in our midst.

Soothing and tranquil, it’s a song I find myself putting straight back on once it’s finished, a sign of its irresistible charm and deeply captivating allure. There’s a timeless quality to Rusev’s sound that sets her apart from her peers, and I have no doubt that her music will resonate with audiences for years to come.

Serious tune alert! Enjoy ‘Finish Line’ on Spotify now:
