Hard rock fans rejoice! The boys are back in town, only this time it’s not fictional, but real! Nasty Passion have recently debuted with an electrifying single, ‘Nasty’, a prelude to their forthcoming album. Originally formed in Hollywood’s legendary Sunset Strip during the late 1980’s and early 1990s, the American band are now back together, looking at the future with a clear memory of the past they emerge from.
That’s perhaps why ‘Nasty’ sounds so authentic and nostalgic, a slice of guitar-powered euphoria delivered with grit and charisma. Mixed at the legendary Cherokee Studios with acclaimed engineer Bruce Robb, and mastered by renowned mastering engineer Chris Bellman, the single and the upcoming album feel incredibly urgent and timely, providing the right amount of hard-hitting chaos and rebellion to a world that’s on the brink of collapse. The song’s title gets repeated obsessively as if it were a spiritual mantra… well, one for rockers, at least!
Nasty Passion are DJ Beatty (Drums), Vince McLean (Rhythm Guitar), Shawn Strachan (Bass), Brian Coleman (Lead Guitar) and Jsin Lynch (Lead Vocals). The talented musicians are adamant about ‘Nasty’ being a new chapter for the band, and we are confident there’s a ton of good stuff to come from them. Hard rock is back, and with it, Nasty Passion are too. What more could you wish for?
Perhaps a live show! Nasty Passion are set to perform at the end of the year at the world-famous Whisky a Go Go in Hollywood, CA, on Dec 30 alongside Faster Pussycat, and on New Year’s Eve alongside LA Guns.
