Dirty Freud Gears Up for New EP with ‘We Do What We Do’

Dirty Freud has recently unveiled his first single of 2026, ‘We Do What We Do’, a fierce cut that recenters the project on modern rap and bouncy grooves.

The keen reader might remember Dirty Freud from a feature for ‘I’m So Fly’ we published in 2024. Back then, the talented producer and creative was enjoying a great deal of attention, especially thanks to his live-band performances, engaging shows which pushed the project into wider genre territories. Fast forward to today, and Dirty Freud is still the artistic wonder we are used to. Yet, he’s shifting…

Returning to hard-hitting hip-hop matter last year with ‘Hip-Hop From Down The Way’, with D’Vonti, Dirty Freud has recently unveiled his first single of 2026, ‘We Do What We Do’, a fierce cut that recenters the project on modern rap and bouncy grooves. In it, Dirty Freud teams up with rappers Kid Bookie (Mobo Award Winner), Lost Souljah, and Blizzard, offering a wonderful balance between male and female vocal tones. The track feels gritty and raw, but also hypnotic and electrifying.

As we are told, the record emerges from “a year of reflection as Dirty Freud thinks about how his sound has been created, and this track shows a direction in which his sound has been developed over the years.” ‘We Do What We Do’ anticipated the project’s forthcoming EP, ‘Under The Influence’.
