Rather than write the standard “you left, and now I’m sad” song I thought I would bring something new and reflect on how we cling on, even when we know something is well past the sell-by date.” We appreciate the heightened level of honesty and accountability featured in Clark’s songwriting; it’s certainly relatable and inspiring.
