The Tiarras Drop Uplifting Cut ‘Vida Libre’, Ahead of Upcoming Album

Once again, the Mexican-American trio showcase their unique artistry and the nuanced, cross-cultural aural character that permeates their work. Discover ‘Vida Libre’.

‘Vida Libre’ marks our first encounter with Mexican-American sister trio The Tiarras. Based in Austin, Texas, the talented group has been navigating the music industry for a few years with the sort of quiet success that often hints at bigger things to come. Championed by the likes of NPR’s Alt.Latino, Remezcla, and Grimy Goods, among others, The Tiarras show no signs of slowing down; in fact, they are accelerating, having announced an upcoming album and a brand new single, ‘Vida Libre’, out now.

In it, we are able to get familiar with The Tiarras’ vibrant and purposeful allure, as they layer a playful yet symbolic lyrical stream on top of a Latin-flavoured, catchy production, here courtesy of fellow creative Charanga Cakewalk. Overall, the tune is a kinetic wonder, a piece that adapts to a sun-laden, bright dancefloor as well as a laidback easy-listening session.

Delving deeper into the meaningful ethos that propels the record, The Tiarras explain: “Vida Libre is what hope sounds like when you’re being honest about it. It’s a free-spirited song inspiring hope for a love-centred world.” Once again, the Mexican-American trio showcase their unique artistry and the nuanced, cross-cultural aural character that permeates their work. The Tiarras’ upcoming album ‘Moon En Flor’ is set for release on August 28 via Lucky Hound Music… stay tuned!
