That’s perhaps one of the features that keeps us coming back to MERTDER; his ability to fuse an euphoric outward livery with a meaningful, multi-layered lyrical plane. Not everyone achieves that.

Doubling down on the ethos behind the new single, he unequivocally explains: “‘Whoredom’ is unapologetically political. It declares that we will not be shamed for who we are, and that the very sexual power society tries to suppress will be used to fuck back, to tear down those who oppose it, exploit it, abuse their positions of power or perpetuate harm.”
