Hailing from New York, the talented creative enjoys navigating an artistic universe that’s haunting, honest and cathartic, bridging the narrow gap between pop relatability and alternative sonic chaos. Such a formula has been visited again, with B.Miles unveiling her latest effort, ‘Five Alarm’, a gloomy and melancholic single that dives into the same aural landscape that made ‘Salt’ such a hard-hitting gem.
There’s an album coming soon, with the American creative set to reckon with her past and deliver a cohesive body of work spanning a decade of musical commitment. As B.Miles explains: “Most songs I’ve written over the last 10 years have felt like smoke leading me back to the same flame. Every time I’ve reached for the warmth, I’m burned. Looking back now, I can hear how those burns were already alive in ‘Twenty Fifteen’. And the songs I’ve written since seem to fold into that EP, like they were always meant to be part of the same story”.
