A Place in Between Evoke a Heightened Sense of Doom in ‘All Beyond’

We love discovering records such as ‘All Beyond’. Pure, unfiltered escapism; an emotional, melancholic nugget delivered by limitless reverb-soaked guitar tones and far-reaching vocals. Oscillating between alt-rock and shoegaze, perhaps with keen post-rock influences, ‘All Beyond’ evokes a deep sense of doom, an immersive and intense character that shapes a hypnotic and cathartic listening experience.

Begins such a masterpiece, we find Belgian band A Place in Between. They are quite adamant about their nuanced hints of post-metal, which explains the heavy nature of the aforementioned single. ‘All Beyond’ is taken from the group’s debut album, ‘Wander Into Bliss’, out now. A Place in Between are Gert Stockmans (Samatha), Thomas Francot (ex-Mantis), Roy Kramer (ex-Man- tis), Thomas Berger (ex-Mantis), Ruben Vandal (ex-Mantis) & Josse Theunkens (ex- Sons Of A Wanted Man).
