Sunrom Unveils Crepuscular Single ‘Louder’ and Album ‘Chromatic’

While the moniker Sunrom might not resonate with a wide audience – at least so far – the project’s music might sound more familiar. Hailing from Paris, the talented producer and songwriter has had tracks featured in a plethora of Netflix Series (the likes of Misfits, Braqueurs, and Never Have I Ever), and remixes published for notable names, such as Pional and Sebastien Tellier. A quick glance at Sunrom’s catalogue tells us everything we need to know.

Boasting an immersive electronic character, the French creative builds aural panorama that feels emotional and anthemic, borrowing equally from the mainstream and the leftfield. More recently, he’s been working on his debut album, ‘Chromatic’, out now. In it, a standout has caught our attention, ‘Louder’. It possesses a highly international allure, playfully diving into R&B and soulful territories. Echoing the likes of Jungle and Tom Misch, Sunrom seems to move beyond his own electronic borders, penning a piece that’s more easy-listening and well-rounded.

As Sunrom proudly explains: “A vibrant and sun-drenched groove, blending modern funk with chill electronic textures and irresistibly catchy vocals. It invites you to dance with joy and warmth.” We stand by the French producer’s prophetic words; in fact, ‘Louder’ arrives just in time for the tail end of summer, a time when seasonal euphoria slowly fades into bittersweet melancholy.
