“This track is rooted in my personal journey of reclaiming confidence and self-expression. Growing up, a lot of my talents were either overlooked or discouraged, and over time, that made it hard to fully embrace who I was,” explains Massey. It’s obviously a personal, introspective effort, yet delivered in an unsuspecting, playful manner. Fellow Los Angeles-based songstress Cêly Riva, lending her Latin-flavoured vocals to the cause, greatly enriches the single. Speaking about the collaboration with Cêly, Jordan explains: “Cêly Riva took that message to a whole new level.
